ISY 351: Data Science Fundamentals

The Data Science Fundamentals course provides an overview of the basics of Data Science, including a wide range of major difficulties and approaches for dealing with data. Data collection, integration, management, modeling, analysis, visualization, prediction, and informed decision making will all be covered, as well as data security and privacy will also be discussed. Professional abilities including communication, presentation, and data storytelling will be cultivated. Students will gain hands-on experience utilizing the R programming language in a variety of commercial, engineering, social science, and life science domains to gain a practical grasp of data science.
