PHYS 652: Quantum Mechanics II (Ph.D.)
This course mainly covers approximation methods in quantum mechanics. It begins by studying three common schemes used in finding the approximate solutions of energy eigenvalues and eigenfunctions for systems with time-independent Hamiltonians: Time-independent Perturbation theory, the variational method, the WKB. It also covers time-dependent perturbation theory with its applications and the scattering theory
