Dr. Mohammed Alarabi is an assistant professor of psychiatry at the College of Medicine, King Saud University, and a psychiatrist in the adult psychiatry unit at King Saud University Medical City (KSUMC) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He graduated with first-degree honors from King Saud University’s College of Medicine in 2017 and earned the Saudi Board in Psychiatry in 2021. In 2024, he completed a two-year clinical fellowship in schizophrenia at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), affiliated with the University of Toronto.
Dr. Alarabi’s academic and clinical work focuses on psychosis and schizophrenia spectrum disorders. He has received recognition for his contributions to research, clinical care, and education, with awards from King Saud University, the University of Toronto, and CAMH. He currently leads the Specialized Psychosis Program at KSUMC, which offers targeted care for individuals with psychosis, focusing on pharmacotherapy and associated motor disorders or metabolic dysfunction. Dr. Alarabi has a particular interest in the phenomenological psychopathology of schizophrenia and the management of treatment-resistant schizophrenia.
