Kashif Saleem is with Center of Excellence in Information Assurance (CoEIA), King Saud University, since March 2012. He is a research scientist who took professional training and certifications from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA, IBM, Microsoft, Cisco. He received his Masters of Engineering (M.E.) in Electrical Engineering - Electronics & Telecommunication, and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical Engineering from University Technology Malaysia in 2007 and 2011, respectively. The Post Graduate Diploma (P.G.D.) in Computer Technology & Communication from Government College University, Lahore, Pakistan in 2004 and B.Sc. (Computer Science) from Allama Iqbal Open University, Islamabad, Pakistan in 2002. Kashif Saleem has authored several research publications and his professional services include - Guest Editorships, Conferences Chair, Workshops Chair, TPC Member, Invited Speaker and reviewer for several international journals and conferences. And has received several grants and working on scientific projects in KSA, EU, Australia.
His research interests are Ubiquitous Computing, Mobile Computing, Internet of Things (IoT), Machine to Machine (M2M) Communication, Wireless Mesh Networks (WMNs), Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) & Mobile Adhoc Networks (MANETs), Intelligent Autonomous Systems, Information Security, Biological Inspired Optimization Algorithms.
