Professor Md Harunor Rashid Khan achieved B.Sc.(Hons) and M.Sc. degree in Physics in 1989 and 1991, respectively from Jahangirnagor University, Bangladesh. In 1992 he joined as a Lecturer in the Department of Physics, Khulna University of Engineering & Technology. In 1994 he moved to the Physics Discipline of Khulna university, Bangladesh. Under Japanese Government Scholarship (Monbusho) program he moved to Japan and enrolled in the Doctoral Program at the High Energy Accelerator Research Organization (KEK). In 1996 he got a Ph.D. degree in High Energy Physics from Saga University, Japan and moved to his job in Khulna university where he has been promoted as an Assistant Professor in 1999. He was a Post Doctoral Fellow at Tokyo Institute of Technology and KEK from 2003-2005 under the JSPS fellowship program. Dr. Khan has been promoted to an Associate Professor and Professor in 2002 and 2006, respectively. In 2007 he worked at the Department of Physics, Saga University Japan as an Invited Fellow. Dr. Khan was a Belle Collaborator of KEK from 1996 to 2006. On January 2016 Dr Khan joined at King Saud University as a Professor and he is now on Lien from his job in Khulna University. He was also a Regular Associate of the Abdus Salam International Center for Theoretical Physics from 2003 to 2010. He is an author & co-author of more than 100 publications which has been published in several reputed journals of Physics. His present research interest is High Energy Physics especially the B-Physics.
