Cloud Computing

In this course, an overview of distributed computing is given with a focus on Grid and Cloud Computing. Cloud infrastructure, architecture, different service models (Saas, Paas and Iaas) are presented. A comprehensive study of the Cloud reference model is provided, including: storage techniques, virtualization, resources control, services orchestration… The course also covers important concerns regarding Cloud deployment: security, business continuity and service management.
