Exercise Management for Chronic Diseases (EP 322)
This course includes a comprehensive study of the most common chronic diseases especially that associated with age effect and physical inactivity such as cardiovascular and respiratory diseases, diabetes and osteoporosis. More focus will be given to the appropriate physical activity required to improve the performance and functions of various systems. Thus, reducing the risk of these diseases will be covered during studying the recent recommendations that issued by specialist international organizations for all age levels. In addition, the course will include sessions on the use of important instruments and devices that are usually used to assess and evaluate the functional capacity of patients with chronic diseases and how to provide an appropriate exercise prescription for them.
