RHS 320: Mecanical ventilation

In this course students will learn about the concept of mechanical ventilation focusing on positive pressure ventilation. Students will learn about the mechanical ventilator from inside out, its parts, how it works and general initial sittings. In addition, students will learn concepts and the necessary skills required to manage patients receiving mechanical ventilation support. The course emphasizes on initiation, maintenance, monitoring and weaning of mechanical ventilation in immense range of diseases and pathological conditions
