Dr. Jahangeer Ahmed is now an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia since September 14, 2021. He was an Assistant Professor (Chemistry, College of Sciences) at the King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from March 2016 to September 2021. He did his Master of Science (M.Sc) in Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee and Ph.D in Chemistry from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, India. The dissertation title of his Ph.D. is “Microemulsion based synthesis of bimetallic alloy nanostructures: Magnetic and electrocatalytic properties”. Also, he worked in the United State of America (USA) as a postdoctoral Research Associate for three and half years at the Michigan State University and the University of Texas – RGV, USA. He published more than 100 research articles in peer reviewed journals having good impact factors including the ChemElectroChem, Journal of Physical Chemistry C, Chemical Communications, Langmuir, CrystEngComm, Materials Letters, Materials Charaterizations, ACS Omega, Journal of Colloids and Interface Science, Colloids and Surfaces B, Journal of Alloys and Compounds etc. His area of research interest is Inorganic Nanostructured Materials Synthesis, Photocatalysis, Electro-catalysis, Energy Conersion and Storage.
