نبذة تعريفية / مختصر السيرة الذاتية
Dr. Ismail Raed Raslan, MD, MSc, FRCPC, FACC, is an Assistant Professor of Cardiology at King Saud University and a Consultant Cardiologist at King Fahad Cardiac Center, King Saud University Medical City, Riyadh. He serves as Head of the Advanced Heart Function Unit, specializing in advanced heart failure, heart transplantation, mechanical circulatory support, and cardio-oncology.
He completed his Internal Medicine residency at McGill University and Cardiology residency at the University of Toronto, followed by advanced fellowships in Heart Failure and Heart Transplantation, as well as Cardio-Oncology, at the University Health Network in Toronto, Canada.
Dr. Raslan holds several national and international leadership positions. He is a Board Member of the Saudi Heart Association, Vice President and Chair of Collaboration and Partnerships of the Saudi Heart Failure Group, and Scientific Program Chair of the 37th Saudi Heart Association Conference
He is actively involved in clinical research, medical education, healthcare quality improvement, and cardiovascular program development. His academic and clinical interests focus on improving outcomes in advanced heart failure, advancing heart transplantation and mechanical circulatory support, and strengthening national and international scientific collaborations.
