He is the coordinator of the department exams’ invigilation schedule committee. He is a member, NCAAA Institution Accreditation Committee (Research Standard). He has a significant contribution for the ABET accreditation. He published three papers on random vibration analysis and one paper on deployment of elastomers inflation. Engr. Elkenani is specialist in Multiphysics Simulation using ABAQUS, LSDYNA, ANSYS, fe-safe and nCode Designlife. Recently he received a Letter of Appreciation from Livermore Software Technology Corp., LSTC for debugging a keyword input error in LS-PrePost of LSDYNA software. He also interest in CFD using SPH, surface based fluid cavities and mesh free modeling. Engr. Elkenani works in several projects with KAIN, KACIC, KACST where he prepared documentations for two patents. He was involved in many reverse engineering projects of a military aircraft components and redesign of a nanoparticles generation apparatus. He also provide many advanced short courses in SolidWorks and AutoCad for graduate students and delegates from industry. After graduating at Cairo University, with Honor Degree, Engr. Elkenani complete his MSc degree in Artificial Intelligent and its Applications. He worked as a teaching assistant at the Higher Technological Institute, HTI, Egypt, for 10 years where, beside the teaching load, he assigned the industrial training supervising for the undergraduate students and supervising 50 individual undergraduate projects. He has contributed heavily in establishing HTI as one of the centers of consultancy in industry. He leads several training workshop in AutoCAD as an official Microsoft-Egypt trainer for delegates from industry. He worked as a part time teaching assistant in the American University in Cairo for two years. He is a member of the Egyptian Engineers Syndicate and the Society of Mechanical Engineers, Cairo, Egypt.
