Dr.Hanan Waheed Alhindi is an assistant professor at the Information Technology department of King Saud University. Dr.Hanan has over 14 years working as an academic faculty at King Saud University. She received her PhD degree on Computer Engineering from University of Victoria, Victoria, Canada in Dec 2019. Also, she received her master and bachelor degree from King Saud University, Saudi Arabia, Riyadh in Computer Engineering and Information Technology department, respectively. In addition, she received several awards regarding her excellent achievements of studying, researching, and publishing. Dr.Hanan’s research interests are on cyber security, insider threat, data loss prevention, anomaly detection, intrusion detection, and improving networks’ quality of services.

•    2015: The Best Poster Award of 2015 UVIC Workshop on Future Ubiquitous Networks, University of Victoria, Victoria, BC, Canada.

•    2014: The Best Student Award in King George International College, Victoria, BC, Canada.   

2013: The First Female Teaching Assistant at King Saud University in the College of Computer and Information Sciences, who has received the master degree in Computer Engineering at King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
