366 TRAJ- Military and Security Translation

Main Course Goals:

1. The main purpose is to expose students to various texts  in the field of military and security, and to focus on the termenology, acrynoms and abbreviations  used in this field.
2.  Students will be able to translate military and security texts in both  Arabic and English. 
3. students will learn to focus on structure, word choices and analyzing the aim of a text in the target language before translating it (SKOPOS)
4.  Students will learn how to apply pre-translation analysis skills to various texts.
