CLINICAL PERIODONTOLOGY I / PCS 313

I for Third year students, 4 hours at Malaz University Campus (MUC) Wednesdays / 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm (lecture). 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm (clinic). This course consists of didactic, pre-clinical and clinical components. It covers the following: Periodontium in health Etiology, pathogenesis, and diagnosis of periodontal diseases Principles and techniques of disease prevention therapy Instrumentation, knowledge and practice of periodontal instruments Examination, diagnosis, treatment planning and treatment of patients with early periodontal disease
