Husain Abbas

Husain Abbas is currently a full Professor of Structural Engineering at the Department of Civil Engineering, King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He received Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (Then University of Roorkee), India in 1993. Before joining King Saud University in Jan. 2009, he was a Professor at the Department of Civil Engineering, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India. His research interests include engineering materials, engineering mechanics, and extreme loads. He is also a structural design consultant.
