NUR 591 – ONCOLOGY NURSING

This course provides the basic knowledge from biological, behavioral and medical sciences for understanding the development, diagnosis treatment and prognosis of cancer. The focus is on the assessment and special physical and psychosocial problems of patients. Practicum includes participation in the nursing management of persons with various types of malignancies.
