تتركز اهتماماتي البحثية في مجال الطفيليات والأمراض المعدية، مع توظيف علم البيانات الحيوية (Bioinformatics) والتحليلات الجينومية لفهم التنوع الجيني والتطور الوراثي للطفيليات ومسببات الأمراض المعدية. وتشمل اهتماماتي تحليل تسلسلات الحمض النووي (DNA) والحمض النووي الريبي (RNA)، وتجميع الجينومات والترانسكريبتومات، والكشف عن المتغيرات الجينية وتعدد أشكال النيوكليوتيدات المفردة (SNPs)، والتعليقات التوضيحية الجينية. كما أركز على تحليل البيانات البيولوجية واسعة النطاق باستخدام أدوات المعلوماتية الحيوية ولغات البرمجة Python وPerl وبيئات Linux، بما يدعم دراسة آليات العدوى، والتنوع الوراثي، والتشخيص الجزيئي، وفهم العلاقة بين الطفيليات ومسببات الأمراض ومضيفيها.

My research interests focus on parasitology and infectious diseases, utilizing bioinformatics and genomic analyses to investigate the genetic diversity and evolutionary patterns of parasites and infectious disease pathogens. My expertise includes DNA and RNA sequencing analysis, genome and transcriptome assembly, genetic variant detection, including single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs), and gene annotation. I am also interested in large-scale biological data analysis using bioinformatics tools, Python and Perl programming languages, and Linux-based environments. These approaches support the investigation of infection mechanisms, genetic diversity, molecular diagnostics, and host–parasite interactions.
