Human Growth and Development

This course encompasses the socio-cultural, environmental, spiritual, and religious influences on the person and the family. This course also introduces the student to the concept of family and provides an overview of the theories of human growth and development. Focus is on people development and relationships, physiologic concepts, psychological concepts, and nursing implications from conception to death. It assists students in providing effective, systematic and scientifically based nursing care.
