The course provides students with some of the necessary skills in reading comprehension such as skimming, understanding main ideas, recognizing paragraphs, identifying topic sentences and supporting sentences, using context clues, summarizing, etc. through topic selections that they are familiar with in their daily life. Students will also be assigned tasks that are relevant to reading skills. In addition, students can improve their ability in thinking and giving personal opinions.
