research interests centred on exercise physiology, vascular function, and human performance. Particular areas of interest include VO₂ kinetics and cardiorespiratory responses to exercise, vascular and muscle function assessment using ultrasound-based techniques, and physiological responses to exercise and recovery.
Research experience includes the application of physiological and functional assessment techniques to investigate exercise-induced adaptations and mechanisms underlying changes in physical performance. Broader research interests include vascular health, exercise-based interventions, recovery following physical exertion, and the application of exercise physiology to sports medicine and health.
A strong commitment to supporting and mentoring female students with an interest in research, encouraging their development and engagement in research activities across different stages of their academic journey.
