MIS 350 Decision Support System & Intelligence Systems

This course discusses how all stages of the decision-making process can be supported by conventional DSSs and will concentrate on using some Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques, including knowledge-based systems, expert systems, neural networks, genetic algorithms, and data mining, for improving the overall quality of decisions. The students will learn how to apply different decision support technologies for solving various practical managerial decision problems and how to develop simple managerial decision-support systems by using some tools
