CEN318: Embedded Systems Design

This course introduces embedded system design concepts. Students will investigate the architecture of a selected microcontroller family and learn how to configure and program its core and peripherals. The course includes a lab component to help students get hands-on experience with the theoretical concepts they take in the course. The objectives of this course are Programming embedded systems using high-level language as well as configuring different processor modules, such as reset, oscillator, interrupts, timers, power saving, Analog/Digital, and serial communications.
