- respiratory and gastroentistical viruses specifically for their epidemiological aspects, evelotion and evloutionary relationships, virus classification, diagnostic, detection methods and characterization.
- Bacteriophages and their biological features as well as phage-hosts interaction
- Forensic microbiology and virology
- Emerging and re-emerging viruses
- Molecular detection and PCR assays design and evaluation for different microbial agents and their markers
- Management and quality in microbiology laboratories
- Microbiology education improvment and development

تدريس مقررات الأحياء الدقيقة العامة، الأحياء الجزيئية الميكروبية، الفيروسات العام، التشخيص الميكروبي، الفيروسات الطبية، علم الفيروسات المتقدم، التقنية الحيوية الميكروبية، علم الأحياء المجهرية الجنائي و الإشراف على مقررات مشاريع البحث لمراحل البكالوريوس والماجستير، والرسائل العلمية كمشرف رئيسي أو مساعد.
Teaching general microbiology courses, molecular biology, microbial diagnosis, general virology, medical microbiology, advanced virology, microbial biotechnology, forensic microbiology, and supervising research projects for both undergraduate and postgraduate students as well as theses as a principle or co-advisor
نبذة مهنية:
بدأت العمل في جامعة الملك سعود منذ عام 2011 وحتى تاريخه (2024)، محاضرا ثم أستاذ مساعد. تضمنت 4 سنوات كوكيلة لقسم النبات والأحياء الدقيقة بكلية العلوم. وترأست أكثر من 20 لجنة علمية وإدارية على مستوى القسم والكلية والجامعة وشاركت في عضوية اكثر من 15 لجنة. في 1443هـ (2021م) انضممت لمجلس إدارة الجمعية السعودية لعلوم الحياة و كعضو في اللجنة العلمية لكرسي أبحاث كوفيد.
اللجان العلمية والإدارية:
على مستوى القسم والكلية والجامعة عملت كمقررة لأكثر من 19 لجنة علمية وإدارية و عضو في 15 لجنة منذ 2016 - 2024
