Dr. Afaf A.M. Shaheen holds a Ph.D. with honors in physical therapy from Cairo University, Egypt. She currently holds a dual faculty appointment, teaching at Cairo University and the College of Applied Medical Sciences at King Saud University in Riyadh. Her research focuses on the efficacy of manual therapy and other physical therapy modalities, the development of validated outcome measures in Arabic, and establishing reference values for the Arab population.
