Aroub Alnasser is a lecturer of Nutrition at King Saud University in Saudi Arabia. Previously, she graduated with first-class honours from the same aforementioned institution with a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, and then a degree of master of Science in Nutrition. After graduating she spent two years working as a teaching assistant for the Food Science and Nutrition Department, until she eventually took her current position.
Currently Aroub is a PhD student at the University of Aberdeen. Her current project aims to counter the obesity epidemic in Saudi Arabia by promoting weight loss through the use of mobile technology. Her main area of interest is public health and community nutrition, with a special focus on the field of technology-enhanced health education.
