Theoretical Foundations in Nursing (NUR 501)

The course will guide the graduate student in the understanding and application of the various theories in the field of practice, education, and research. Also included is the study of the major elements of the theory construction and development. Criteria for analyzing and evaluating theories is emphasizes and applied to the examination of selected theories in nursing.
