ENG 491: COMPUTATIONAL LINGUISTICS

The course introduces students to the use of computers to represent and process human language, a 

field which combines insights from linguistics and computer science. It provides an opportunity for 

students to develop computer programming skills to a level that allows implementation of simple language processing systems. Moreover, the course provides an introduction to the field of corpus 

linguistics
