BCH 520 “ Enzyme mechanism” for postgraduate students.

On the completion of this course the students will be familiar to:

• Thermodynamic and kinetic aspects of selective substrate binding and catalysis.
• Methods of studying enzyme mechanisms and different types of catalysis
•  Detailed mechanisms of several representative enzymes.
• Students will be able to independently deliver oral presentation on enzymes as target for drug design to treat different diseases.
