BA 551 - International Business Management (MBA)
Course Objective:
This course is divided into two parts. The first part provides the students with an intensive study of changing economic, political, and cultural environment in which the business conducts its affairs internationally. The second part of the course encompasses the specific problems which international businessman must deal with, such as marketing, community relationships, organization, financial management, operating policies, and the ways in which these problems may be approached.

Course Requirements: Exam-1 = 20 pts
Exam-2 = 20 pts
Case Preparation = 10 pts
Applied Research = 10 pts
Final Exam = 40 pts
Case Writing:
Any case related to IB is accepted. Students are encouraged to discuss their thoughts early in the semester. The proposal must be submitted and approved by 27 Feb 2013 and the final paper is to be submitted by 17 April 2013.
Discussion of all cases will be conducted in class for the benefit of all students. Case should not exceed 3000 words (single spaced, Arial 10 font, 1 inch margin from all sides) and must include citations and references according to APA style.
