Course Description
The course covers the medicinal chemistry of different chemotherapeutic agents such as antibacterials, antifungals, antivirals, antiprotozoals and antimalarials. A special section will be assigned for cancer and anticancer chemotherapy. Emphasis is given to the mechanism of action, SAR and metabolism of these agents.

يحتوي المقرر على دراسة المعالجة الكيميائية للأمراض التي تسببها الميكروبات كمضادات البكتريا ,مضادات الفطريات ,مضادات الفيروسات ,مضادات البروتوزوا و مضادات الملاريا هذا بالاضافة إلى الأدوية المستخدمة لعلاج السرطان. كما يحتوى المقرر على دراسة العلاقة بين التركيب البنائي والفاعلية الحيوية لهذه المركبات العلاجية وكذلك الايض الدوائى لبعض المركبات.
