CEN 316 Computer Architecture

This course teaches students how to program in assembly language (machine instructions) and shows the students how these instructions are executed in the hardware. The course also introduces some other important concepts in computer architecture such as the arithmetic operations, the basic design of cache memories, the I/O subsystems and evaluating the CPU performance.
