Course Description:

In this course, students will learn about enteral andparenteral nutrition, taking into consideration the nutritional requirements ofpatients and the conditions that might affect these requirements.

Course Objectives:

At the end of the course the students should be able to:

  • Prescribe timely, efficacious, and safe nutrition support.
  • This course has a different calculations than the other courses in the nutrition field students will learn in depth how to solve the problems so the practical part will concentrate on this issue .

  • Attendance 5min before the class starting. 

 

  • Only 1 absence is permitted without valuable reasons.
  • Take notes and completing handouts.
  • Do not eat in the classroom.
  • Exams will be on the fixed time and will not be repeated unless there is a medical record that indicates the reason of absence.
  • Quizzes will never be repeated.
