Maintenance  and repair of the genome are vital biological processes that safeguard the integrity of human chromosomes. These chromosomes face constant threats from both internal and external factors, necessitating prompt and efficient cellular responses to maintain genomic stability.

في مختبرنا، نركز على فهم الأداء المعقد لمسارات إصلاح الحمض النووي وعلاقته بالشيخوخة الخلوية . من خلال نهج شامل يشمل البيولوجيا الجزيئية والخلوية، وكذلك الكيمياء الحيوية، فإننا نسعى جاهدين لتحديد ودراسة أدوار هذه المسارات التي تلعب أدوارًا حاسمة في إصلاح الحمض النووي في الكائنات الحية وخصوصاً البشر.

In our laboratory, we investigate the complex mechanisms underlying DNA repair pathways and their interplay with cellular aging in human cells.Through a comprehensive approach involving molecular and cell biology, as well as biochemistry, we strive to identify and investigate the roles of novel proteins that play crucial roles in human DNA repair pathways.
