ARCH 269. Site Analysis and Landscape Architecture

The course introduces the concept of site analysis and landscape architecture by developing the student's analytical knowledge and skills in this field as part of the architectural and urban design process. Specifically, the process of conducting detailed site analysis will be addressed, training on ways to interpret their results, and on how to express the results on the site design. The course will also address the history, foundations, standards and elements of Landscape Architecture. The course is divided into two main parts: Part one: deals with the tools and the representation of site analysis And the second part: deals with the foundations, tools, and design process of landscape architecture.
