Pharmacogenomics PHCL637

This course provides fundamentals of Pharmacogenomics. It introduces students to role of pharmacogenomics in drug action and kinetics. It demonstrates the implementation of pharmacogenomics and challenges in clinical practice. The Course also examines the molecular basis for interindividual differences in drug disposition and application of that information for individualized drug treatment regimens. It illustrates the most common electronic resources and laboratory techniques used in the field of pharmacogenomics.
