Dr. Alhanoof Althnian is an Associate Professor in Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the College of Computer and Information Science and the Director of the Digital Innovation Unit at the Entrepreneurship Institute. She holds a Ph.D. in AI from the University of Kansas and a Master's degree in Computer Science from Indiana University. She recently served as an AI expert member in two task forces at the Science 20 (S20) official engagement group at the G20. Her research interests include Multi-agent Systems, Evolutionary Computation, Machine Learning, Reinforcement Learning, and Bio-inspired Computing. Her practice revovles around employing AI to solve challenging problems and advising businesses and governmental entities on AI adoption and implemetation.
