Dr. Nat Med Arwa Ishaq Khayyat , Associate Professor of Molecular Medicine and a distinguished member of the Genome Research Chair, Department of Biochemistry. My interdisciplinary research bridges the fields of neurodevelopmental disorders, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), and cancer , with a strong emphasis on transcriptional regulation , nuclear genes and DNA damage/repair system.
I focus in outstanding a variety of advanced techniques, including molecular genetics, biotechnology, and proteomics, as detailed in the CV. My researchs highlight on dissecting the roles of transcription factors, nuclear genes, and DNA repair pathways in disease initiation and progression. Through this researchs, she has identified novel regulatory mechanisms and molecular biomarkers that link common dysregulation and genomic instability to clinical outcomes, advancing our understanding of complex disease pathogenesis.
