The Fungal Mycotoxins Course is designed to introduce students to a basic understanding of mycotoxins that may occur in foods, animal and humans. The course is delivered in a classroom. Students will develop a detailed understanding of mycotoxin health hazards, fungal species and their toxins, aspergillus and aflatoxin, future fight against mycotoxins, the affected organ system by mycotoxin. Students will acquire the skill of working within a group. Textbook: There is no official text book for the course though there will be assigned readings from the primary literature below.
