Dr.Abdullah Shaya Albaihan د.عبدالله بن شائع البيهان

الدكتور عبدالله بن شائع البيهان أستاذ مشارك في علوم الحاسب بجامعة الملك سعود، ويتمتع بخبرة أكاديمية ومهنية تتجاوز عشرين عامًا. حصل على درجة الدكتوراه في علوم الحاسب من جامعة كونيتيكت بالولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، ودرجة الماجستير في علوم الحاسب من كلية علوم الحاسب والمعلومات بجامعة الملك سعود. يُعد أحد المؤسسين المشاركين لمكتب الذكاء الاصطناعي بجامعة الملك سعود، ويشغل حاليًا منصب رئيس المكتب، كما تولّى منصب وكيل كلية الدراسات التطبيقية للدراسات العليا، وسبق له العمل وكيلًا للكلية للتطوير والجودة. وقد قاد ونفّذ عددًا من المبادرات والمشروعات في مجالات الذكاء الاصطناعي، إلى جانب مبادرات أكاديمية وتطويرية وإدارية على مستوى الجامعة.يمتلك الدكتور عبدالله سجلًا بحثيًا يضم أكثر من عشرين بحثًا علميًا منشورًا في مجلات علمية محكمة وعالية التأثير ومصنفة ضمن قواعد بيانات ISI، وتتركز اهتماماته البحثية في مجالات الذكاء الاصطناعي، والأمن السيبراني، وإنترنت الأشياء، وتقنيات البلوك تشين.كما شارك في رئاسة وعضوية عدد من اللجان والمجالس الأكاديمية داخل جامعة الملك سعود وخارجها، وأشرف على مشروعات طلابية في مجالات علوم الحاسب والتقنية، وشارك متحدثًا ومحكّمًا ومرشدًا في المؤتمرات والندوات العلمية والمسابقات الابتكارية والهاكاثونات التقنية. ويعمل مستشارًا لدى عدد من الجهات، مستفيدًا من خبراته الأكاديمية والبحثية والقيادية، ويسعى إلى الإسهام في إحداث تطوير مؤثر ومستدام في القطاعين التقني والتعليمي في المملكة العربية السعودية، ودعم الابتكار والتحول الرقمي وبناء القدرات الوطنية.

Dr. Abdullah bin Shaya Al-Baihan is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at King Saud University, with more than two decades of academic and professional experience. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Connecticut, USA, and his master’s degree in Computer Science from the College of Computer and Information Sciences at King Saud University. He is a co-founder of the Artificial Intelligence Office at King Saud University and currently serves as its Head. He has also served as Vice Dean for Graduate Studies at the College of Applied Studies and previously held the position of Vice Dean for Development and Quality. Throughout his career, he has led and implemented a wide range of artificial intelligence initiatives, in addition to academic, developmental, and administrative projects at the university level. Dr. Abdullah has a strong research profile, with more than 20 publications in high-impact, ISI-indexed journals. His research interests include artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, the Internet of Things, and blockchain technologies. He has chaired and served on numerous academic committees and councils within and outside King Saud University. He has also supervised student projects in computer science and technology, provided academic and professional mentoring, and participated as a speaker, mentor, and judge in scientific conferences, seminars, innovation competitions, and technology hackathons. In addition, he serves as an advisor to several organizations, drawing on his academic, research, and leadership experience. He is committed to contributing to impactful and sustainable development in the technology and education sectors in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, while supporting innovation, digital transformation, and national capacity building.
