Course Description
This is a general Reading course with a focus on Reading comprehension, for learners at the Intermediate level. The prerequisite for enrolment in this course is Eng. 101.
Course contents
The students are introduced to short fables in simple English as comprehension passages. They are trained to respond to the stories and infer the lessons therein. Exercises in subject-verb agreement, drawing inferences and scanning for meaning, follow the Comprehension exercises.

Tests and Exams
Two In-Term Tests each carrying 20 marks and 10 marks for Class Assessment and Participation.
50 marks for the Final Examination
A student has to secure 60 out of 100 to pass the course.
