الدكتور فالح بن مشبب القحطاني، أستاذ علم الأدوية والسموم بكلية الصيدلة في جامعة الملك سعود، ومدير المختبر المركزي، ورئيس تحرير المجلة الصيدلية السعودية. حاصل على الدكتوراه من مركز العلوم الصحية بجامعة تكساس تك، وتتركز اهتماماتي البحثية في علم الأدوية العصبي، والحركية الدوائية، والنمذجة الحركية الدوائية المبنية على الفسيولوجيا (PBPK).

نجمع في الحياة العملية  بين البحث العلمي والتعليم والقيادة الاستراتيجية للمختبرات ، مع التركيز على تطوير القدرات البحثية، وتعزيز معايير الجودة، وبناء الشراكات الأكاديمية والصناعية. وبفضل الله، تشرفت بقيادة جهود فريق العمل التي تُوّجت بحصول المختبر المركزي بكلية الصيدلة على اعتماد ISO/IEC 17025 في مجال تحليل الأدوية والمستحضرات البيولوجية.، ونحرص دائماًعلى تمكين الباحثين والطلاب من خلال التدريب العملي وتوفير بيئة بحثية تدعم الابتكار وجودة المخرجات العلمية.

I am Faleh Alqahtani, Professor of Pharmacology and Toxicology at the College of Pharmacy, King Saud University, Director of the Central Laboratory, and Editor-in-Chief of the Saudi Pharmaceutical Journal. I earned my PhD from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. My research interests focus on neuropharmacology, pharmacokinetics, and physiologically based pharmacokinetic (PBPK) modeling.

My work combines scientific research, education, and strategic laboratory leadership, with a focus on developing research capabilities, strengthening quality standards, and building academic and industry partnerships. I led the efforts that secured ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation for the Central Laboratory at the College of Pharmacy for the analysis of drugs and biological products. I remain committed to empowering researchers and students through practical training and providing a research environment that supports innovation and high-quality scientific outcomes.
