Course Objectives:
- Given an overview of pharmacy service distribution and dispensing functions, outline and describe at least ten (for each) functional components for inpatient, outpatient and sterile products.
- After a review and overview of factors involved in clinical services is completed, describe and outline ten key factors for each of the following: decentralized services, drug and poison and information service, P&T Committee, pharmacokinetics service, etc.
- To give a review and an additional overview of administrative services, outline and describe in details all of the key factors covered.
- To give coverage of factors involved in all other support services not covered in the previous objectives, outline and describe all factors covered in the course.
- Upon completion of lectures and practical laboratory simulations, outline all major factors of each laboratory session and complete all assignments.
