• Principal Investigator;   College of engineering (KSU) Research Center project funded through a grant from SABIC titled, "Effect of Thermo-Electrical Stresses and Ultraviolet Radiations on Polymeric Insulators" Project No. EE-18/26/27, 1426-1427 (2005-2006). Duration of project was One year and completed in October, 2006.

• Principal Investigator;   College of engineering (KSU) Research Center project funded through a grant from SABIC titled, "Impact of Solar radiation and Heat on the hydrophobicity of HV Polymeric Insulators" Project No. 18/428, 1427-1428 (2007-2008). Duration of project is one year. The project started in June 2007 and completed in August 2008..
