Mehdi Mrad holds a Ph.D. in Operations Research from High Institute of Management, Tunisia, a Master in Operations Research from High Institute of Management, Tunisia and a B.Sc. in Economics (applied statistics) from High Institute of Management, Sousse.
Mehdi Mrad was an assistant professor in Computer Science at High School of Economic and Commercial Sciences, Tunisia for two years. In 2007, he was in Computer Science Engineering department at Minho University, Portugal where he spent one year of postdoctoral research. he was also in Masdar institute of Sciences and Technology, Abu Dhabi as a post doc in 2010. Since 2011, he has been working as an assistant professor in the College of Engineering with the Industrial Engineering Department at KSU University.
His primary areas of research are Operations Research and Combinatorial Optimization. His main interest is scheduling, planning , cutting & packing, network design problems and transportation problems.
