ACM Digital Library The Digital Library is a vast collection of citations and full text from the Association of Computing Machinery (ACM) journals, newsletter articles and conference proceedings. This resource also includes the Guide to Computing Literature, which includes bibliographic citations from major publishers in computing.

IEL The IEEE/IEE Electronic Library (IEL) provides a single source of almost a third of the world's current electrical engineering and computer science literature. Access is given to journals, conference proceedings and standards from the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the Institution of Electrical Engineers (IEEE). Timespan: 1988 onwards.

INSPEC Compiled and maintained by the Institution of Electrical Engineers. Corresponds to Science abstracts Series A&B, Physics abstracts, Electrical & electronic abstracts, Computer and control abstracts, and Section D of the Inspec database. Timespan 1898 onwards.

Lecture Notes in Computer Science Online Lecture Notes in Computer Science reports the latest results from all areas of computer science and information technology research, development and education. Timespan: 1973 onwards

Computing reviews Computing Reviews compiles critical reviews of current literature (books, journal articles, conference papers, etc.) in computer science, providing an overview of recent developments in the field. Features include a "Hot Topics" area, search engine.

Computer and Information Systems Abstracts This database provides a comprehensive monthly update on the latest theoretical research and practical applications from around the world, with the monitoring of over 3,000 serial titles as well as numerous non-serial publications. Coverage: 1981 onwards.

Compendex Engineering including mechanical, civil, environmental and electrical, air and water pollution, road transportation and waste management. Timespan: 1990 onwards.

MathSciNet MathSciNet is a comprehensive database providing access to the bibliographic data and reviews of mathematical research literature since 1940. Journals, conference proceedings, and books of mathematics research are covered.

Electronics and Communications Abstracts Electronics and Communications Abstracts indexes over 3000 journals and conferences for comprehensive coverage of articles on electronics and communications equipment engineering. Coverage from 1981 onwards.

Science Citation Index (Web of Science) Sciences, including agriculture, veterinary medicine, medicine, astronomy, pharmacology, computer science, zoology etc. Index to more than 5,300 major journals. Timespan: 1990 onwards.

Zetoc Zetoc provides access to the British Library's Electronic Table of Contents of around 20,000 current journals and around 16,000 conference proceedings published per year. The database covers 1993 to date, and is updated on a daily basis.

JSTOR Multidisciplinary archive of over 900 major scholarly journals. The heaviest emphasis is on arts and social sciences titles, but the collection also includes business, general science, and health and biological sciences titles. The scanned images replicate journal issues and pages as they were originally designed, printed, and illustrated. Browse the lists of journals available.

Science Direct Provides access to the full text of articles from over 1,000 journals published by Elsevier Science. Many articles from journals related to computer science are included. Contains over 8.5m articles including 4m pre 1994.

SpringerLink The premier electronic data source from Springer for researchers in biomedicine, physics, engineering, mathematics, and computer science. Timespan: 1840 - Also includes access to Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS).
