WELCOME...
Dr. ElMadany obtained his B.Sc. from University of Alexandria, Egypt. He obtained his M.Sc. and Ph.D. from McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. He joined Wyle Laboratories, Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA, where he worked as a Senior Research Engineer in the Truck Design Optimization Project, dealing with field and laboratory testing, data collection and reduction as well as modeling and simulation of seven newly designed freight railway trucks. In August 1981, Dr. ElMadany joined Atomic Energy of Canada Limited as a Specialist, where he worked on stress and seismic analyses of nuclear power plant components. He joined King Saud University in August 1983 as an Assistant Professor, and he became a full professor in 1990. His research activities has been manifested in over than 80 publications in International Journals and Conferences. His areas of specialization include dynamics and control of rotating machinery, machine monitoring, fault diagnosis, active control of road and railway vehicles’ suspensions, guidance of homing missiles, and engineering education.
