III-V Quantum Dots and Their Applications

Quantum Dots (QDs) are one of the most interesting form of Nano-particles. Their significance lies in their 3D nature and tiny size, i which electrons are highly quantized with unique properties that are not exist in bulk materials.

Semiconductor QDs are very promising for many high-tech applications such as Infrared Sensors, Lasers, LEDs, Solar Cells, Optical Storage, Photonic Crystals ........ and others. They are mainly useful for space, medical, and military applications.
