• تزويد الطالبات في الكليات الصحية بالمفاهيم الأساسية للكيمياء العضوية الأساسية وهي معرفة التركيب الذري ودراسة الروابط الكيميائية . دراسة تصنيف، تسمية، الخواص الفيزيائية والتركيب وتفاعلات المركبات العضوية التالية: الهيدروكربونات، الهاليدات العضوية، الكحولات، الايثرات، الفينولات، الألدهيدات، الكيتونات، وحمض الكربوكسيلية ومشتقاتها، الأمينات،  الكربوهيدرات،  الاحماض الامينية ، الدهون ،  البروتين والاحماض النووية
