 Brief Profile

 An Alumnus of IIMA—Asia’s leading management institute--Dr J.K. Sharma holds PhD in Management and is currently working as Associate Professor in the department of Human Resource Management at Al-kharj College of Business Administration. With 29 years’ experience of teaching University students at postgraduate and M.Phil. levels, he specializes in Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management. He received his Ph.D. in Management.(1997). Participated in the 12th Faculty Development Program in Management at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (1991). The program was meant for management teachers and trainers. The Research Project Report submitted for it was published as a Learned Research Work; and based on that he was made an approved research supervisor for guiding doctoral research well before he himself received his Ph.D. degree. Since then, he has been successfully guiding doctoral research.

Acted as Resource person in a National Workshop held in Agra, India (2008)  for development of commerce curriculum under changing scenario. Besides participation in conferences and seminars, Dr. Sharma has published several   papers and articles. Also acted as an Editor of the Indian Journal of Business Administration, volume five, 2009, published from Jodhpur, India. He had been a visiting Faculty to XLRI –India’s  premier School of Business and Human Resources-- to deliver expert lectures on General Management to executives of ETA Star Group, Dubai. (2007and2008). Dr. Sharma’s latest paper titled “Managerial Leadership: Lessons from Indian Scriptures” has been accepted for an international symposium to be held in the Sultanate of Oman in Feb 2010.
