 Here are some rules I strive to abide with while dealing with students:

§ Clarity, give students a clear path to success with clear assignments and dates § Transparency, grades are announced periodically and a student may discuss any grade § Inspire Trust and make students keen to keep up this mutual trust § Inspire professional positive attitude to students § Treat students with respect as fellow professionals

§ Always provides a second chance to makeup § Inspire self confidence § Encourage students to talk their minds and communicate as professionals § Never humiliate a student even if wrong § Inspire free thinking. Never impose views on a student, he always should adopt what he is able to defend
